DON'T BLINK

For Drivers, race-defining moments happen in a split-second. For fans, taking your eyes of the action means you could miss an unforgettable moment in sports history. Daytona is the kickoff to an entire season of these moments. We're going to hold a digital staring contest on Nascar.com. Fans complete to see how long they can watch without blinking. Eye-tracking technology will use their webcam to track eye movements, recording their time on a digital leaderboard. First they can pick their favorite driver's car and then start staring. We'll connect fans and sponsors by creating 'sponsor-supported" rounds of gameplay with prizes for the best times. The leaderboard will appear on TV during the race with announcers commenting on the statistic.
